How to use Audio Transcript to Quiz

  1. Create or obtain a transcript of the recording.
  2. Paste the relevant passage and correct important transcription errors.
  3. Choose the question settings and generate the quiz.
  4. Verify questions against the transcript and recording.

Use transcript text, not an audio upload

The current workflow creates questions from pasted transcript text. It does not transcribe or upload an audio recording. This makes the source visible and editable before generation.

Prepare interviews, lectures, and podcasts

Identify speakers when their viewpoints matter, remove filler that does not support a learning objective, and correct names, numbers, and specialist vocabulary. Keep enough context around quotations or conclusions to make their meaning clear.

For a long recording, work with one coherent section at a time. Smaller sections make it easier to check whether each answer is supported by the relevant part of the transcript.

Review transcript-based questions

Listen again to important passages when the transcript may be uncertain. The generator only knows the pasted words, so tone, music, sound effects, and untranscribed events cannot support an answer.
